So Much to Share... So Little Time

Well, as many of you know... life here at the Atchley's/McConnell's has been quite busy. Two of my closest friends are getting married within a couple months of each other, my husband is settling into his new job, my brother starting up school here at home again... and so... I've kinda been in limbo having to re-learn how to live in a house full of other adults. As such, posting has slowed down drastically but, I'm hoping to figure this all out soon enough :)

I figure I'll take some time to attempt to catch you up on the going-ons in my life right now.

Well, first things first... Timothy is 9 months old now. Can you believe it? He's saying: "Mama", "Dada", "Mimi" (his grandmother- my mother), "Big Bird", "Book" "Mum Mum" (his favorite snack), "I love you"... and I think that covers the vocabulary for today... at this rate... who knows what he'll be saying tomorrow.

His favorite thing in the world is taking a bath. The only problem is- he so loves to attempt to walk, etc. I can't get him to sit down in the tub. It's like bathing a calf. I come out drenched 90% of the time.

On Sunday, September 4th Timothy took his first steps on his own! 5 steps in total in fact.
And, on September 14th Timothy was officially 9 months old :'( Where did time go so quickly?

Did I mention that he's also getting into EVERYTHING!!!  This time it was Mimi's yarn.

This year is also his first for FOOTBALL- and all us Tennessee'ns are "required by state law" to raise die hard Vol fans... otherwise you must move. (Joking of course)
This past Saturday... it was against our arch rivals... the lowest of the low- gators... boooo

So- we dressed him up in UT ORANGE babay

And he cheered like a natural born VOL

(just a little note here... really.... we cheated. He "praises the Lord" now... and so we'd say "Praise the Lord" for every positive play... and... well... pretend it was for the VOLS we're sure he fully intended to say
 "Go VOLS")

Last but not least, we took him to Cades Cove with Uncle Jonathan and Aunt Sarah for his first tracker ride:

PS. We're also Colts fans... for Peyton Honey mostly!
